Sota is the Kagome's younger brother. He watches as she gets pulled into the well for the first time while she is trying to find his cat.
After finally meeting Inuyasha, he becomes very fond of him, and sometimes even asks him for personal advice. Once Inuyasha tries to teach him how to be a good fighter.
