Character Description:
Mistress Centipede has the body of a woman, but with a very long centipede tail. She is the first demon encountered by Kagome, taking her into the well after being attracted to the Shikon Jewel inside of her. This is how Kagome first discovers the well can take her into the past. She also manages to get the jewel from inside Kagome's body, wanting it for herself, but is quickly killed by Inuyasha after he is free.
