Kaguya

Character Description:
At the start of the second Inuyasha movie - The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass - Naraku is destroyed. Miroku's wind tunnel vanishes, and everything seems to be ok.
That is, until Kanna and Kagura attempt to free Kaguya. A powerful demon who was binded by a spell.
To awaken Kaguya, they must gather various magical items including a piece of Inuyasha's fire-rat robe. She is brought back to life, and manages to capture Kagome after Inuyasha is told that she can transform him into a full demon. She plans to bring him under her control, stealing his human side with Kanna's mirror.
Just when everything seems hopeless, and Inuyasha's human side is no more, Kagome kisses him, which brings him back to normal. Then Kohaku's spider scar returns, as well as Miroku's Wind Tunnel, and it is discovered that Naraku simply faked his death.
Kaguya tries to kill Naraku, but fails, and Naraku pulls everyone through the mirror where they fight, and escape.
The legend of Kaguya actually comes from a 10th century Japanese folk-tale called 'The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter'. It is also sometimes known as 'The Legend of Princess Kaguya', and 'The Legend of the Bamboo Harvester'.
The difference in the movie Kaguya is that Kaguya is not a celestial being, but a demon that has devoured one and gained its power. She had been sealed by a spell for destroying men, and the only way to free her was to collect the five items from the story, which represent wood, earth, fire, metal, and water.
