Character Description:
Gatenmaru was a demon that could transform into a giant moth. It is possible that he was one of the short-lived incarnations of Naraku, but this is never mentioned.
He was able to create a poison cocoon which was used to seal Inuyasha. Soon after Inuyasha's demon blood took over, allowing him to escape and destroy Gatenmaru.
Later, Inuyasha meets up with Gatenmaru's brother, who encases his victims and then attacks them in their dreams.
