Mukotsu
Character Description:
Mukotsu is a member of the Shichinintai (Band of Seven). He specializes in the use of poison. He trapped Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara with his poisonous gas while Inuyasha was distracted by Jakotsu.
Sesshomaru, who was on his way to Mount Hakurei - also searching for Naraku, happens upon Mukotsu's hut and saves everyone from the poisonous gas. Mukotsu challenges Sesshomaru and unleashes all the poison he carries, but they do not harm him in the least. He then tries mixing an even stronger poison while distracting Sesshomaru with apologies, but is horrified when even it does no harm to him. Sesshomaru, with a single stroke, destroys Mukotsu. His shard of the jewel is gathered up by a Saimyoushou (Hell Wasp) and later given to Bankotsu.
